Biotrade

BioTrade refers to the collection, production, transformation and commercialisation of goods and services derived from native biodiversity. This tool draws on UNCTAD’s merchandise BioTrade dataset (HS 6-digit products mapped to BioTrade categories) to show real trade flows in biodiversity-derived products by economy and category.

Source: UNCTAD merchandise BioTrade (US.BiotradeMerch), aligned with the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD). Values are total trade with all partners, in current US dollars.
